Hoot Owl Hoot is an award winning colour-coded cooperative matching game. It has multiple play levels therefore it will grow with your child.
The object of the game is to help the owls fly back to their nest before the sun comes up. Players take turns drawing a card – if it is a colour, they choose an owl to move to the next spot on the board that matched the colour on the card. If it is the sun, then they place a sun on the sun track.
Players keep their card face up. All players together as a team try to figure out which would be the best owl to move where. (In order to get the owls to the nest as fast as possible.) Everybody takes a turn and works together. Keep in mind, if one colour is already taken, then a player is allowed to leap frog that spot to the next available one – So as a result, there is a little strategy involved!
